PennDOT work could delay traffic

DUNMORE - Drivers through Mayfield this week can expect restrictions or delays as Plank Road will soon be closed to realign the intersection with Business Route 6, the state Department of Transportation said Friday.

PennDOT also included in its schedule through Nov. 13 work to begin replacement of the St. Mary's Cemetery bridges on Interstate 81 in Scranton, which could delay traffic at mile marker 183. Also, Route 502 over Interstate 380 in Covington Twp. will be closed until Thanksgiving, and parts of Route 107 in Scott Twp. will be single lane for sewer work.
