MOOSIC - A faulty wall between a chimney and a woodstove at 426 Brook St. contributed to a small house fire Saturday evening, firefighters said.
No one was home when the fire started around 5 p.m. and no one was injured, Greenwood Fire Department Chief Chuck Molinaro said.
The fire spread from a chimney into the wall at the rear of the residence, and was quickly extinguished.
