Career teachers approve contract

SCRANTON - Teachers at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County approved the union's tentative contract on Tuesday.

After a strike last week, the union and administration came to a tentative agreement Sunday. The school boards of each of the nine districts in the center's consortium must vote on the contract before the center's joint operating committee votes Nov. 19.

Details of the contract have not been released.
