SCRANTON - Lackawanna County CareerLink, 135 Franklin Ave., will offer a series of events during Health Career Week as part of a statewide initiative to highlight the need for trained professionals in the health industry.
Next week's programs include: Monday, 1 to 3 p.m., free health screenings; Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., job fair with local health care employers; Thursday, 2 p.m., state Department of Health presentation on the flu, and Friday, 10 a.m. to noon, question-and-answer with health professionals about career choices, training and local job prospects.
